Agri-business internship programme at BHU
VARANASI: The faculty of management studies, BHU, had organised the internship programme for MBA (agri business) from October 7 to 11.
Addressing the inaugural function on Monday, BHU finance officer Abhay Kumar Thakur emphasized on the need of such programmes to bring out the hidden potential of the students. He exhorted the students to think of a career and work hard to achieve it. Thakur emphasized on placing right person on the right place to increase the efficiency of the organization. The role of manager is to divide the work into manageable activities and select people to accomplish the task.
Course coordinator HP Mathur said that the 45-hour capsule internship course would be conducted by competent faculty members. A specialised module had been designed to develop knowledge and content base, communication skill and analytical ability of students. Head and dean RK Pandey said that the objective of this programme is to help students become self-supporting and achieve their objectives but they really need to work hard to establish their credentials.
RP Singh, officer on special duty, Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, BHU, said that the internship programme is meant to help students to plan their career.
