For You Daddy: Priyanka Chopra Launches Cancer Centre

MUMBAI: Vivacious and spunky Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra recently lost her father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, to cancer. But that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to be daddy’s lil girl, in every way.

Yesterday, the stunning diva was spotted inaugurating a cancer centre of a local hospital. The special centre in the name of her late father is to commemorate the doctor, who succumbed to cancer a few months ago.

Priyanka was seen standing by her mother Madhu Chopra like a rock, at the inauguration. In a royal blue sari, the ‘Exotic’ hitmaker even spoke about her father’s struggle with the illness.

Not only that, Priyanka has also reportedly donated a whopping sum of Rs 50 lakhs to the cancer ward. This only goes to show how emotionally attached Priyanka was to her late father, and how much she honours his memory.
